Author Submissions

At Black Cat Productions, we’re passionate about discovering talented authors and stories that stay with readers long after the final page.

If you have completed a manuscript and believe it could be a good fit for Black Cat Productions, we would love to hear from you. Please read the submission guidance below carefully and complete the form with the requested documents.

Before You Submit

To help our team review your work, please provide the following two documents as separate PDF files:

Please upload a PDF containing three chapters from your manuscript.

We recommend submitting the opening three chapters wherever possible, as these will give our team the clearest introduction to your story, characters and writing style.

What Happens Next?

Once your manuscript has found its way to us, our dedicated team will carefully review your submission.

Please allow 6–8 weeks for us to read, consider and discuss your work.

And if your story has left a little paw print on our minds, we’ll be in touch. Whether we need to know more, request further material, or simply believe your story belongs here at Black Cat Productions, you’ll hear from us.

In the meantime, if you’re a creative professional — whether an editor, formatter, designer, or another kind of freelancer — we’d love to hear from you too. Simply head to our Contact tab and get in touch with the Black Cat team.

Until then, leave the rest to us.
