I created this publishing house alongside my colleague because I’m passionate about supporting the community, helping authors be heard, and creating a space where our freelancers and colleagues feel valued and supported.
When I’m not with authors at events or handling the wonderfully boring-but-important business side of things, you’ll usually find me tinkering away and building something.
From engineering projects to domestic cabins, I’m always creating — once again, building spaces where communities can feel safe and happy.

I’m the one behind the messages, submissions and all those little details that keep our Black Cat Family running. If you’re sending us your manuscript, you can trust me to treasure it, handle it with care, and make sure it gets the chance to be seen by our directors. Every story deserves to be treated with care, and I’m here to make sure yours is.
I’m also very proudly the Black Cat Mum of the group. Got a problem? Need a hand? Not sure where to go? Come find me. Chances are I’ll either know the answer, find someone who does, or be stubborn enough to figure it out!
When I’m not looking after authors and submissions, I’m usually covered in crafting supplies. My favourite thing to create — sun catchers. There’s something special about taking something beautiful and casting light into an otherwise dark place.

Hey, I’m Jessi, and I manage all of BCP’s sales! You order a copy from one of our authors, and I make sure it gets to you safely and beautifully.
I have lots of experience in sales and working with independent publishers, but I always felt like something was missing. So, when Samuel reached out to me and told me about Black Cat Productions, I knew I had to jump on board, and I’m so grateful I did.
If you want a team that not only loves creating beautiful books, getting them out the door and into your hands, and helping our authors find the best opportunities, but also a family that genuinely cares, welcome to our Black Cat Family.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me with my daughter, teaching her about the wonder of beautiful books and reminding her that the women she reads about aren’t just characters in stories — she can be that woman herself one day.
I am a social media freelancer with a deep passion for creativity, content and collaboration!
A little about me is I adore films, music and poetry. I’ve been writing my own anthology of poems, over 200 strong for over 3 years now.
And I’m super excited to be apart of the BCP Family!
I especially love editing the work of indie authors as I find great joy in helping new voices have the opportunity to shine!
When I haven’t got my nose stuck in a book (which is most of the time!), I can be found at the gym, spending quality time with my girlfriend and our adorable cocker spaniel, Colby, or exploring various cafes and bookshops.

For the past few years, I’ve been exploring the world of design, experimenting, learning, and growing. I started by creating posters and logos, events, and local projects. Along the way, I fell in love with the process of bringing ideas to life through design.
Now, I focus on book cover design, chapter art and map design for authors, creatives, and small businesses.
