Our third private event with Molly Jade at TG Jones Redditch was nothing short of spectacular. The turnout exceeded all of our expectations, and we celebrated our highest sales day yet.

But the most unforgettable moment came when someone walked into the store, spotted Molly, walked straight over to her and simply said, “It’s you!”

As a debut author, there are few moments more rewarding than being recognised by a reader. To witness that after just over a month since the release of The Last Half-Blood was incredibly special.

For us as a publisher, it was also a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. The late nights, the endless planning, the miles travelled, the behind-the-scenes work that nobody sees—it is all worth it when we get to watch our authors achieve moments like this. Seeing Molly Jade become a recognised face is something we’re immensely proud of, and this is only the beginning of her journey.

If you’ve been following along and have been thinking about picking up a copy, consider this your sign. We’d love for you to join Molly’s journey, and you can order your copy today.

We also have so many exciting events still to come, along with a few secrets we’re not quite ready to share just yet… so stay tuned.

And if you’re an author who has been hesitant to reach out to Black Cat Productions, or you’ve been waiting for a sign that independent publishing can make a real difference, perhaps this is it. We’re passionate about championing our authors, creating opportunities, and helping them build lasting careers—not just publishing a book.

Finally, we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came along and supported Molly on the day. Your encouragement means more than you know.

A special thank you also goes to the wonderful team at TG Jones Redditch and the Kingfisher Shopping Centre for helping to promote the event and making us feel so welcome. Your support helped create a day that one author—and one publisher—will never forget.

Stay tuned for more event announcements from Black Cat Productions UK. The journey is only just beginning. 🐈‍⬛
